Towards Scalable Diagnostics for Alzheimers & Dementia

Risk Stratification for Alzheimers and Dementia

Due to changing demographics, growing healthcare system capacity, and the potential promise of new disease modifying therapies, the current diagnostic pathways for suspected Alzheimers and dementia are unsustainable. Clinicians need a scalable solution. precision-health.ai is developing a CDSS for primary care physicians that stratifies patients at a high risk and low risk of converting to AD or dementia in the next 5 to 15 years.

Differential Diagnosis (Dx) of Alzheimer's and Dementias

Distinguishing between Alzheimers and different dementia subtypes is incredibly challenging, especially at an early stage. Clinical outcomes are path dependent, so early intervention is critical. Based on decades of research, precision-health.ai is bringing to market a CDSS that can help clinicians distinguish between Alzheimers disease, vascular dementia, Lewy body dementias, and frontotemporal dementia.

Contour Prostate Tumors with Greater Precision

Accurately identifying and contouring clinically significant prostate cancer remains a critical challenge, even with advanced MRI technology. precision-health.ai addresses this gap by integrating AI with a quantitative biomarker—the Restriction Spectrum Imaging (RSI-Score) to differentiate clinically significant prostate cancer from benign tissue. Validated in a recent Phase III randomized controlled trial, radiation oncologists achieve better contour accuracy for MRI-visible tumors using RSIrs maps for prostate tumor when using focal boost radiation treatment.

Distinguish between Different Women's Pelvic Diseases

Currently, there are no established non-invasive diagnostic pathways for women’s pelvic diseases. By advancing AI and advanced imaging, precision-health.ai is developing cutting-edge clinical solutions that provide clinicians with data-driven insights to improve the diagnosis and management of female pelvic conditions. For example, our CDSS will enable clinicians to distinguish endometriosis from uterine cancer, ensuring more targeted care and better patient outcomes.

CVD Risk Calculator for Patients with Severe Mental Disease

Backed by research and funding from the Horizon Europe CoMorMent project, Precision-Health.ai is launching a clinical risk calculator to address cardiovascular comorbidities in patients with severe mental illnesses. This evidence-based tool empowers clinicians to evaluate cardiovascular risks specific to this population, enabling personalized treatment decisions. The CVD risk calculator informs clinicians to make better prescription decisions and the enhance longterm patient well-being and outcomes.

CDSS for Medication Response and Adverse Side Effects

In collaboration with our partners and support from the Horizon Europe REALMENT project, precision-health.ai is currently developing a CDSS with prediction algorithms for medication response and adverse side effects for patients with severe mental diseases. Instead of trial and error to determine the most effective medication, write prescriptions with precision - minimize side effects and improve health outcomes in a shorter time . The backend workbench allows for streamlined integration of patient data and frontend physician's portal provides rapid insights to inform which pharmaceutical interventions for mental health disorders are right for each person.
